Summer Tennis Program

For the eighth consecutive year, the Indian Hill Recreation Commission and the Village of Indian Hill will sponsor a summer tennis program for Indian Hill school district children aged 5-11 (kindergarten through grade 5). The program will begin in June and will run for eight weeks through early August. **Dates and times for 2004 are to be announced.

This program will offer group instruction and pre-match play, including basic strokes, serve and volley, and court strategy. Instruction will be provided by teaching staff from Camargo Racquet Club and will take place at the Stephan Field courts at the corner of Drake and Shawnee Run Roads. Group size will be limited to encourage maximum learning during the two-week sessions, which run Monday through Friday.

REGISTRATION:
Registration will take place for all eight weeks at a date in May still to be determined. After dates and times are announced, parents may call Kim at Camargo Racquet Club at 793-9200 to register. Registration is available on a first-come basis.

TENNIS EQUIPMENT:
Tennis equipment and apparel can be found at The Racquet Company, located on the premises of Camargo Racquet Club. The Racquet Company offers a wide selection of shoes, clothing, and racquets for both junior and adult –players, with many demo racquets available to loan to prospective players. Cost: $120/Session $65/week

NOVICE CAMP:
(Grade 1 – 5):
Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – Noon
