SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM AT STEPHAN FIELD

The summer Recreation Program at Stephan Field will begins one week after Indian Hill Schools let out for summer vacation in June and continues through the first week of August. The program starts at 10:00 AM each day and ends at 3:00 PM.

Attendees will enjoy many of the favorite activities from previous years such as: basketball, nature hikes, soccer games, water day on Fridays and board games during the rainy days.

The program is open to all Indian Hill Village residents at no charge. They may bring guests at the rate of $1.00/day. Residents of the Indian Hill School District who are not residents of the Village may attend and will be charged the $1.00/day guest rate. Those living outside the Indian Hill School District are not permitted to attend. All participants must be registered to participate.

As in previous years, a parent or guardian must register each participant the first time they attend. For safety considerations, children under 6 will not be allowed to participate without their own personal supervision. We will require each participant between the ages of 6-9 years of age to be signed in and out each day by a parent or baby-sitter. Older participants may sign themselves in and out. The directors will follow-up with the parent of any child who was signed in by a parent but failed to sign out before leaving the park. The children are expected to follow the program rules. Those who do not will be sent home immediately.

The Program Directors are usually employees of the Indian Hill Primary School and they are familiar with many of the kids who will attend the program. They are assisted by a local student.

The Indian Hill Recreation Commission offers the Stephan Field program for recreation use only. IT IS NOT A BABY-SITTING SERVICE. Your cooperation with the Program Directors is most appreciated. The Program Directors are not able to stay at Stephan Field beyond closing and clean-up time (3:15 PM). After this time, children will be escorted to the Indian Hill Ranger Station.
